Project Drawdown is an undertaking to identify, quantify and facilitate responses to climate change. Its first major effort was publishing the book Drawdown: The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming, edited by Paul Hawken.
Now comes a critical next step: Drawdown Learn,a collaborative effort to develop the tools, training, innovative project-based learning, and other curriculum integration needed to unpack and engage schools and communities in the rich learning opportunities of Drawdown and its data. Paul Hawken and the Drawdown team, the Omega Center for Sustainable Living and many partner organizations and schools will convene educators, curriculum developers, parents, students, librarians, and community groups to chart a path toward an integrated, solutions-based approach that supports and catalyzes conversations, learning, resource sharing, and connected action around the world.
The kick-off presentations for the Learn Event are being live streamed free to registrants at the event link below. The kick-off presentations will feature Paul Hawken and the project team.
