Sustainability after the One Big Beautiful Bill Act
April 28 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
While the current administration’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act and its many other efforts have severely pruned Renewable Energy in the US, there remain opportunities to cultivate our future. Our next Renewable Energy and Sustainability presentation features Larry Eighmy, Managing Principal with the Stone House Group, a leading provider of energy, facilities, and project management services to help organizations and institutions across the world achieve their sustainability goals. Larry will share programs where Renewable Energy and Sustainability opportunities continue to survive and in some cases, thrive in the current conditions.

Larry Eighmy
As co-founder and Managing Principal of The Stone House Group (SHG), Larry Eighmy oversees all facilities planning, project management, energy, and sustainability projects. He is widely recognized for his expertise in local, state, and federal incentives that offset capital costs for high-impact building investments.
Larry has dedicated his career to helping institutions become better stewards of their facilities and has long believed that good stewardship starts at home. That philosophy is reflected in the firm’s LEED Gold-certified headquarters, located in a 110-year-old building in South Bethlehem. The building now operates as a mixed-use, high-performance facility with a dramatically reduced carbon footprint. Under his leadership, The Stone House Group became a Certified B Corporation in 2022 and recertified in 2024 with an improved score, reinforcing the firm’s ongoing commitment to rigorous standards across social, environmental, and governance practices.
Throughout his career, Larry has held numerous leadership roles in both institutional and community organizations. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites as Treasurer and Chair of Strategic Planning and on the Advisory Board of the SouthSide Arts District, where he continues to support the cultural and economic revitalization of South Bethlehem. He previously served as Treasurer of Moravian Academy, Chair of the Board of the Sustainable Energy Fund, Chair of the Green Schools Alliance, and as a member of the Saucon Valley Conservancy Advisory Board and the vestry of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity.
Larry is a graduate of Middlebury College and has pursued additional studies at Carnegie Mellon and Harvard University. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons and can often be found on the ski slopes or riding his bike.”
